Options:
1. Soothing Memories + Some kind of item spell.
2. Energetic was Lee Sa
3. Empowerment with item spell (spirit kinda sucks)
4. Use a secondary such as /E for GoLE or /Me for power drain/leech sig.
5. Go channeling for essence strike/spirit siphon. You need a spirit for either. This shouldn't be a problem since you can use vamprism/bloodsong and SoS as well.
Rits are pretty good with energy management. I don't suppose you will have problems if you plan and play correctly.

Spirit Siphon, Recuperation, Preservation, Summon Spirits. Bit of micromanagement required with your spirits but provides excellent energy management.

Pvp or Pve?
I like using Energetic was Lee Sa for RA..
For PvE I'd suggest Boon of Creation.
Cheers

For a quick energy boost you can buy an offhand from Honglei Sun in Factions (Maatu Keep).
Just remember to change back because it is -1energy.

I had a restoration build that used Spirit Light Weapon which seemed to help a lot. It made it so i didn't have to heal as much, and its great at relieving pressure. Also, i used the assassin skill, Shadow Refugee, for myself and if need be, i would use Spirit Light Weapon on myself. That way you don't waste near as much mana healing yourself. Also, my last tip if the first 2 I said get shot down is bringing one of the restoration pots. Keep them up as much as you can, and when in battle, drop them if you run out of energy so that you will have back up energy from your equips. I run a build like this on my Ritualist, and I have beaten almost all the campaigns so i think its worthy.
Good luck

Signet of Spirits+Recuperation+siphon spirit = Highest potential for net healing in the game + energy management and a slight addition to damage.

Your best bet is to spec into Channeling. Spawning Power doesn't offer much and if you want Communing you'd be better off as a defensive spirit spammer.
Channeling has Essence Strike and Spirit Siphon and it's very easy to bring a single spirit (Bloodsong or Vampirism) to get the energy returns.
However because the elites in Restoration are fairly unspectacular, you can easily afford to take Offering of Spirit. Xinrae's Weapon is pretty much it, followed by Weapon of Remedy (which is still a bit meh).
Spirit Light Weapon is rubbish.

Offering of Spirit is powerful in PvP, but no longer as strong as it once was thanks to SoS.
I think Siphon is all you need for energy. Save your elite for something better IMO.

I was thinking in context of elites that are specifically direct energy management, so SoS was kind of marked off the list when I made that post, since it's more used to exploit non-elite energy management.
